Job summary
AX Care is looking for a Kitchen Porter. This is a hands‑on role responsible for keeping all kitchen and service areas clean, safe, and well‑maintained. You will handle daily cleaning tasks, operate equipment correctly, minimize waste, and ensure all facilities and tools are stored and maintained to the required standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning duties as per cleaning schedule and/or as assigned by your
supervisors. - Minimize cost through breakages, loss and excessive usage of chemicals.
- Maintain and clean all always wash up areas.
- Ensure cleanliness of all facilities and equipment.
- Store all equipment to the defined standards.
- Operate any machinery according to instructions.
Requirements:
- Fluency in English, additional languages are considered an asset.
- Experience in a similar role is a must.
- Food handling course B and any other related courses will be considered an asset.
- Currently residing in Malta.
