Job Summary
AX Care is seeking an experienced Security Manager. In this role, you will be leading a team of Security Officers, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all employees, clients, and visitors at Hilltop Gardens. This role involves developing and implementing security protocols, managing security staff, and coordinating emergency responses.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve security policies, procedures, standards, and best practices.
- Lead, mentor, and oversee the Security team, ensuring effective performance and operational excellence.
- Design and maintain emergency response and crisis management procedures to safeguard employees, guests, visitors, and company assets.
- Conduct regular security audits, inspections, and risk assessments, recommending and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Coordinate and manage responses to security incidents, emergencies, fire alarms, and other critical situations.
- Maintain comprehensive records of security operations, incident reports, investigations, and follow-up actions.
- Partner with management to develop and deliver security awareness and health & safety training programmes.
Requirements:
- Minimum two years’ experience in a similar security management or supervisory role.
- Professional certification in Security Management or a related discipline will be considered an asset.
- Demonstrated leadership experience within a security operations environment.
- Sound knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, standards, and best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organisation.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Good level of computer literacy, including proficiency with standard business applications.
