Job Summary
Verdala Wellness - AX Privilege is seeking a detail‑oriented and guest‑focused Front Office Agent (Night Shift) to represent the hotel during overnight operations. This role ensures a warm welcome, a smooth and professional front‑desk experience, and consistent service standards throughout the night, creating a sense of comfort and trust for guests while maintaining the refined attention to detail expected in our environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver a warm, efficient welcome and maintain a professional front‑desk presence throughout the night.
- Manage room status, understand room types and rates, and coordinate updates with Housekeeping.
- Handle reservations including same‑day bookings, future reservations, and cancellations.
- Support guest enquiries, resolve issues promptly, and communicate services, amenities, and procedures clearly.
- Apply sales‑minded service by offering options, upselling, and promoting hotel services.
- Use FO systems and office equipment confidently, ensuring accurate data entry and record‑keeping.
- Handle mail and packages following proper procedures and logging requirements.
- Issue parking passes or validate tickets when applicable.
- Maintain safety awareness and follow all SOPs, emergency procedures, and night‑shift protocols.
Requirements:
- Currently residing in Malta.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within a 5‑star or Forbes‑rated environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with reservation systems and front‑office equipment.
- Ability to handle guest enquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
- Friendly, professional attitude with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- High attention to detail, reliability, and organisational skills.
