Responsibilities:
- Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, masons, and equipment operators, with daily construction activities.
- Load, unload, transport, and store construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare, maintain, and clean construction sites, including debris removal and waste disposal.
- Operate basic hand and power tools in accordance with safety procedures and site instructions.
- Assist with the mixing, pouring, and placement of construction materials, including concrete and aggregates.
- Erect, maintain, and dismantle site structures such as barricades and access systems, where authorised.
- Comply with all Health & Safety regulations, site procedures, and PPE requirements, reporting any hazards or incidents immediately.
- Support site teams in achieving project targets and carry out other general labour duties as reasonably assigned by supervisors or site management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 months' previous experience as a General Labourer or in a similar construction-related role.
- Proficiency in English (Mandatory)
- Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements and a commitment to following all site safety procedures.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support colleagues in achieving project objectives.
- Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to follow instructions from supervisors and site management.
